WordsAke - 12/8/19 

I was walking to the bakery and there were different kinds of cake like cheesecake and
chocolate I undertake a plan for my mum birthday then I made the mistake of buying the wrong one . 
But the cake that I buy a race car cake then I some milkshake after that we were still hungry so we
brought some takeaway then the next today we eat some flakes for breakfast and then the floor wass
shaking becuase there were a earthquake.

For Today me and my group were making a list of words that start with ake like cake, and we looked at the dictonary for words in books or chromebooks and we found thirty words . Then finding words from the words the storys that had eight words with ake with them. Then we needed to put the words mistake , Flake, undertake into a sentence, then shared our sentences with the group . After that we chose five ake words and make then into a paragraph. Finally we listened  to Mrs Linda read us a short storys and we tried to answer qusetions about the story . 

Swimming Water lesson

Yesterday we went to the pools and did some water safety in rivers , but learning it in the pools and our coach James and we did some warm ups like front strokes and back strokes . But I loved when I went deep down and hold my breath to the other side of the pool and it was challgening and fun so did we talk about how to swim in the river because it was to safety around the sticks and rocks that will bruise you or even killed by being drowen , or even in the ocean with depth or even sharks , jellfish , waves or even current that drag you around and sink .  Also Swimming and learning at the same time and it was really fun, and it was cool to swim making fun ways to finish off the session . 

Tech

For Tech Miss Alice was here to let us to fill out some papper about greek it was very very cool about when they had made the food some of the food were weridly name in the Greek and on the papper were find words . I was in the cooking group we did some papper about the foods about greek and there were some lots of infomation about greek food when it lunch is 2pm or 3pm and on the papper were some qusetion about greek and their calendar was only christams and easter and they called there christams cake called christampolle. I have learnt' that about greek is that it has lots of drifferent kinds of foods.

Swimming

For Swimming we were learning to water saftey with our caoch James, and we were learning to be safty around waters like floating on your back or belly James were teaching us some tips to get in the pool and out of the pool . So then were learing to Breast stroke , Streamline and Dolphin diving in the water and out of the water, also I really like to go really really down and swim under water and coming back up and it was really a some about learning water safety . The streamline was really cool first put your arms togther next to your ear and swim and then free stye and my was Dolphin diving, but I dive really low and come back up and go back down again over and over again and there were people in my group was Julian,Neavah, Joseph etc , and I have learnt how to water around others.

Swimming

On Thursday we were going to the pools because to learn water lesson and we had to change fast , so we can stright into the pool then they told us to get in the pool and swim to test us to go on drifferent groups . So when we were in groups I was learning to be water safety and swimming , the first thing that we did is learning to say help , but I was think about when someone  was in the middle of the sea and there were nobody were near so someone would lay on my belly and look for shore . It was fun doing the water safety and doing some fun challanges like floating on you back for one minute it was really fun and then we swim next to the line up to the red floate then go back and siwm backwards and I think every kiwi should be water safety. 

Steve Minecraft School

For maths I had made a maths game it help people with addtion and times tables and I had lot of fun doing this activity about making games and maths too . But I have learnt that making a game it is a hard thing to do becuase linking the correct thing togther without making mistakes , and then on thurdays people were showcasing their maths and they were incredible it was really amazing and it was also of a show of cofidence . I had enjoyed sharing my maths to others because it was sharing ideas for another it was a fun way from ending the Term , and the feed back was making sure the links are correct and correct spelling . ( Push the arrows unit when it hit the maths )

Rocket Experiment

For inqury me and my group were making a rocket that experimenting about Rocket fins for a expamle like no fins or 2 fins or 4 fours and we had to work on a DLO about the Rockets fins and DLO it talks about which one is going to be the futher and make a meaning to it .  I have learnt that 2 fins was the one that makes a rocket futher because it eqaul weight to the rocket and it was really fun doing this activity about rockets fins and when we were firing it we need the right angle to shooting and it was all about wind Restaince .
